My client is a global consultancy, with over 700 employees in the UK. With business divisions ranging from Network service, Technology solutions to Marketing – this is a truly dynamic company with fantastic room for growth and progression.
This role sits in the Marketing division, specifically in the client services team who’s predominate responsibility is to maintain and manage the existing client base passing on projects to the relevant marketing team and overseeing its completion. As a result this team are well rounded account management specialists but also have an in depth understanding of how analytics, data and technology can shape their clients approach to marketing.
This role reports into the Partner – Head of Client Services, you will be given your own portfolio of clients with a value of between £1 – 1.5 million to the business – you will be expected to maintain relationships with Director and CMO level stakeholders whilst growing and finding new projects for the marketing division. Once a new project is bought on you will deliver a detailed brief to the relevant marketing unit and oversee the delivery of the project, you will not be hands on with datatechnology but you will be the main point of contact between the project and client so must understand the project’s importance.
This is an opportunity to gain exposure to a variety of marketing specialisms including consumer insight, digital design, marketing strategy, data planning and technical integration, the variety and dynamism of the role has seen the current Partner work there for the last 15 years.
Other responsibilities include:
– Deliver pitches and lead pre-sales meetings with clients
– Thought leadership responsibilities such as speaking at seminars or writing whitepapers
– Helping the partner devise strategies for the team
To be considered for this role you must have:
– At least 8 years client services experience in a marketing provider
– Demonstrable evidence of managing and growing accounts
– A strong understanding of data and technology and how it can improve marketing strategy
– Exceptional rapport building and client management skills
– Successfully responded to RFP’s and proposals
