The Company:
A boutique consultancy with big picture plans. This rapidly growing data team services a plethora of high-profile clients, across e-commerce, finance, IT, renewable energy, and environmental technology.
The Role:
Stepping into new areas of data, this hire for a big data architect is the first of it’s kind in this organisation.
Sitting above the data engineering function, you’ll be the go-to for all architecture-based enquires. You will define technical needs from client specification, build customised data management frameworks relative to these requirements, and in-turn enhance the communication of data around their business.
As this is a new arena of data service, the spotlight is on you to make the difference. From project to project, strengthening data policy, data governance, and with a fair share of cloud platform implementation, no two days will be the same. On top of the technical focus, comes mentoring junior colleagues to up-skill those less technical. In this way, you will see a great external and internal impact from your work.
Boasting a hybrid work pattern, 25 days annual leave, and expensed travel to their central London office, the team are keen to hear from you.
Put yourself forward, and apply now!
What You Need:
- Over 4 years of experience in data architecture, in a client facing environment including development of c-suite relationships.
- Extensive experience covering big data implementation, platform implementation, and cloud infrastructure.
- Complete confidence building and deploying data management blueprints, with a preferred background in data engineering, maintaining ELT/ETL pipelines.
- Technical expertise (project dependant) across Azure, AWS, GCP, Snowflake, SQL, MongoDB, and dbt.
- A history of client engagement, management, and stakeholder presentation.
