Historically they have focused their efforts on the retail and leisure markets. However, over the last 18 months, they have diversified their portfolio by venturing into the central government and housing association markets.
The Role
Within this role, you will have the autonomy to select the most appropriate machine learning technique to implement on each task, recently used include; regression, natural language processing, decision trees & neural networks. Whilst ‘Where To Go Next’ projects are the most common, you’ll also deliver solutions related to customer segmentation and customer lifetime value to improve the effectiveness of marketing strategies.
Collaborative working and knowledge sharing are central to this team’s success, with regular training sessions and hackathons enabling individuals to learn at a much quicker rate.
The Successful Candidate Is Likely To Have
- Been educated to degree standard, preferably in a numerate subject
- Extensive knowledge of a programming language, ideally Python
- Applied machine learning models to solve real-world business problems
- A passion for all things data science, eager to stay on top of the latest advancements
- Strong communication skills, able to present technical concepts directly to clients
